University of Edinburgh Business School

The University of Edinburgh Business School enjoys a long tradition of teaching and research, opening the doors to our first cohort of students in October 1919. The School offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes in business and management and provides a platform for research, discussion, and debate on a wide range of business issues.

In the delivery of our programmes, the School operates a system of programme management. Each programme has its own Director, supported by a mix of shared and dedicated administrative support. Boards of Studies scrutinise curriculum development proposals for approval, amendment, or rejection.
