University of Coimbra, Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics (FEUC) was founded in 1972 and shares the mission of the University of Coimbra and overall objectives, focusing on the dissemination of science and culture that result from studying social and economic topics and from the scientific research and post-graduate and graduate teaching in its areas of specialisation.

FEUC offers four undergraduate programmes – Economics, Management, International Relations and Sociology– and a wide range of master’s (12 programmes) and doctoral courses (14 programmes) in these four areas, as well as advanced training programmes (7 in total). FEUC has more than 2600 students, 97 teachers (55% full and associate professors) and 30 non-teaching staff. FEUC upholds a strong respect for diversity and maintains the highest quality standards in its teaching and operations.
