The UCU Business School is the graduate business school of the Catholic University of Uruguay. Its creation dates to 2008, when it was inaugurated in agreement with the Christian Association of Business Leaders (ACDE in Spanish), under the name of ISEDE, offering only executive training programs. The School of Business Sciences (FCE in Spanish) oversaw the teaching of master's degrees in the business area, having launched the first MBA in 1992.Starting in 2018, UCU decided to relaunch the project and strengthen the offer and positioning of its School of Business. The re-launching project included a practically total renovation of its faculty and management teams, redefinition of academic programs, strategic repositioning and new infrastructure, with the objective of becoming the business school of reference in Uruguay, with a positioning among business leaders who are not currently attracted by the proposals of other business schools in the market. The re-launch includes a new branding, renaming UCU Business School. The new identity implies being the School of Business of UCU, with its own identity and organizational structure, led by a single Dean, independent of the FCE.
