Shanghai University

The School of Management of Shanghai University was established in 2008, and its predecessor is the School of Business Administration of Shanghai University established in 1983. The School of Management currently covers two first-level disciplines of “Management Science and Engineering” and “Business Administration”.

According to the 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject, Shanghai University ranks 11th in mainland China in the field of “Business and Management”; according to the 2019 China In the subject ranking of “Soft Science”, the subject of “Management Science and Engineering” of Shanghai University ranks in the top 13%, and the subject of “Business Administration” ranks in the top 15%.

The college currently has more than 3,000 students, about 70% of whom are graduate students; there are also about 180 international students. The college has post-doctoral mobile stations, first-level discipline doctoral programs, academic master programs, professional degree-based master programs (MPAcc, MEM) and a multi-level talent training system for undergraduates.

Majors include: accounting, financial management, information management, business administration, human resource management, management science, logistics management, engineering management, etc. The degree-awarding power comes from the Degree Evaluation Committee of Shanghai University and the State Council.
