Putra Business School
In
response to the myriad ethical and financial scandals transpiring in today’s
corporate entities, PBS is determined to produce business leaders with
integrity, humanity, and a transformed paradigm of business. Towards this
end, PBS is among the first, if not the first, to champion the concept of
Human Governance in its curricula. Built on the foundation that business is
fundamentally a human enterprise, PBS believes that the core purpose of
business is to facilitate the betterment of society, not to maximise
profitability. Business leaders, therefore, need to understand their
responsibilities within the realm of their societies in the process of being
enterprising and entrepreneurial. In PBS, students are encouraged to use
their hearts and their moral compasses along with their minds in
decision-making. We want students to question what it means to be human and
to redefine humans’ roles in business. To put it (somewhat) simply, PBS is a
business school that teaches humans the business of being human in business.
