FGV EAESP is a private, non-profit Brazilian higher education institution founded in 1954. It is one of Brazil’s leading business schools and one of twelve schools that make up Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV)—a prominent think tank dedicated to promoting the country’s economic and social development.
FGV EAESP has a longstanding tradition of preparing leaders for academia, business, government, and the non-profit sector. In addition to its undergraduate programs, the school offers a wide range of graduate degrees designed both for aspiring faculty and researchers and for professionals at various stages of their careers. These include pre-experience master’s programs, specialized master’s degrees, MBAs, and doctoral programs.
A leader in academic research, FGV EAESP is recognized by Brazil’s Ministry of Education as having one of the country’s top five research programs. The school is also home to twenty applied research centers, which foster a dynamic exchange of knowledge between academia and the professional world.
FGV EAESP is Brazil’s most international business school, with over 100 partnerships across five continents and more than twenty dual-degree programs. It was the first school in Brazil to earn the “triple crown” of international business accreditations—AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA—and continues to uphold this distinction. The school is also a member of several prestigious global networks, including the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) and the Partnership in International Management (PIM).
