AVT Business School

AVT Business School is a  private, independent business school in central Copenhagen, founded in 2001 by Danish industrialists who believed Denmark deserved local access to world-class executive learning. AVT stands for the Association of Visionary Thinkers, and the name is a statement of purpose: the School exists to develop ambitious leaders with the visionary capacity to create real impact.

AVT's mission is to deliver world-class executive learning experiences that help professionals develop superior leadership and management competencies for the benefit of themselves, their organisations, and their wider community. The School is small by design, selective by choice, and ambitious by nature. Curated cohorts of 25-30 ensure depth of peer learning and genuine faculty access, while flying-faculty model brings scholars and practitioners from MIT Sloan, INSEAD, Harvard, Kellogg, Oxford, Cambridge, NYU Stern, Darden, and London Business School to Copenhagen.

The School's flagship programme is the Executive MBA, continuously AMBA-accredited since 2012. The programme is delivered through a new architecture: six immersive Leadership Tracks of 12 ECTS each - Strategy & Execution; People & Performance; AI & Digital Leverage; Leadership Presence & Communication; Purpose & Long-Term Value; and Innovation & New Value Creation - together with an 18 ECTS Capstone Project undertaken in the participant's own organisation, totalling 90 ECTS. Each Track produces a Playbook, a living decision-making system the participant carries into practice, and AI fluency runs as a longitudinal thread across every Track. A Life Sciences pathway, developed for life sciences industry, substitutes a Life Sciences AI & Marketing track; both pathways lead to the same degree. Three intakes per year - September, January, and April - allow professionals to begin when it suits them and their employers.

Beyond the Executive MBA, AVT offers the six Leadership Tracks as standalone executive programmes for senior leaders, and tailored Corporate Programmes for organisational clients. More than 5,000 managers have completed AVT programmes, including 500+ Executive MBA alumni who form the MBA+ alumni community.
