AVE, the association for values in education, has announced its support for the MBA in Economics of Education and Leadership (EEL) offered by Bucharest Business School
The EEL programme at Bucharest Business School, the post-experience business school of Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), is run in partnership with the World Bank and Ernst & Young Romania and has been described as “the first of its kind in Southeast Europe dedicated to training professionals who shape the education system”. AVE executive director Simona Pavelescu has joined the advisory board of the MBA programme, supporting the dissemination, implementation and development of the programme, as well as co-ordinating a mentoring scheme whereby business leaders become mentors for the trainees.
Commenting on the initiative, Pavelescu said: “We are honoured to contribute to a project of such scope and relevance for the future of education in Romania. This MBA is a natural continuation of everything we have built through the Academy of School Leadership and Management – a space where theory meets practice and educational management experience is put at the service of real reform.”
