Monash Business School has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (MBA), one of the world’s leading authorities in postgraduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA re-accreditation, all current MBA students, and recent MBA alumni of Monash Business School are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in over 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
Monash Business School at Monash University is located in Melbourne, Australia. AMBA accredits the Global Executive MBA, the Global Executive MBA and Master of Business, the Digital MBA and the MBA at the business school. Note: the Business School is currently accepting applications into both of the Global Executive MBA programs and Digital MBA but not the MBA.
During the AMBA accreditation process, the panel members, representing senior management at global business schools, commended the school’s facilities. They were particularly impressed by the Caulfield campus – which they thought was first class with its variety of breakout spaces.
The panel also thought that the Global Executive MBA represented a significant upgrade to the face-to-face, executive level provision – and was a positive step for the school in terms of relevancy, currency and impact.
“Our re-accreditation with AMBA is a key element of Monash Business School’s participation in the world-wide community of universities committed to engaging in the highest quality business education, research and engagement.”
“We were delighted to be given the opportunity to tell an in-depth story about our continuing journey of inclusivity and improvement within the context of our purpose and vision, which commits us to developing leaders and empowering communities to solve global economic, environmental and social challenges.”
“We have many achievements to be proud of, and through our evolving strategic approach, embrace the challenges and changes that lie before us.”, said Prof Carla Wilkin, Deputy Dean, Accreditation and International, Monash Business School.
AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and consider changing trends and innovation in postgraduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation and demanding business schools to perform at the highest level continually.
Andrew Main Wilson, CEO, AMBA & BGA, said,
“Congratulations to Monash Business School for this re-accreditation. The school is clearly investing in the facilities at the business school and creating a world-class environment for learning. I look forward to working with the school going forward.”
