Dublin City University’s Business School confirms position as leading international business school with AMBA reaccreditation

The Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities in postgraduate business education recognises our continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

All current MBA and recent MBA alumni of the DCU Business School are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in over 150 countries on a free basis. It will also open up opportunities for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of other benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes achieve the Association of MBAs accreditation.

Dublin City University Business School is a research-intensive institution known for its strong industry connections and commitment to producing high-quality, impactful research. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes designed to address real-world business challenges through innovative and entrepreneurial approaches. The School is recognised internationally for transforming individuals, industries, and society through its excellence in teaching and research.

During the AMBA accreditation process, the panel members commended the recently refurbished executive education and EMBA space, which they thought added value to the student experience. The panel also highlighted the School’s strong engagement with industry, reflected in our work ready students, in shaping our programmes, our research and our executive education offering. Finally, the School was seen to benefit from a highly committed and collegiate faculty and senior leadership team.

Prof Dominic Elliott, DCU Business School said: "The faculty is delighted to gain re-accreditation from AMBA. This affirms our triple crown status, placing us in the top 1% of business schools worldwide and underscoring our commitment to excellence in education. "

AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and consider changing trends and innovation in postgraduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation and demanding business schools to perform at the highest level continually.
