AMBA’s re-accreditation of the University of Edinburgh Business School benchmarks the quality of their MBA portfolio

The University of Edinburgh Business School officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on postgraduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of the University of Edinburgh Business School are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

The University of Edinburgh Business School, a leading business school in Europe, is part of the world-renowned University of Edinburgh based in Scotland. AMBA accredits their full time MBA and Executive MBA programmes. The School offers a number of postgraduate, undergraduate and executive education programmes all with the mission of developing effective and responsible leaders. The School is also known for its research, with particular strengths in interdisciplinary accounting, management science, leadership organisations and society.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the School’s research informed teaching and the emphasis on interdisciplinary learning. Also mentioned by the panel was the Schools swift adaptions to its programmes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
