AMBA & BGA Releases New Docuseries Episode Showcasing King’s Business School’s Leadership in Sustainability and Industry Integration

The Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA), in partnership with BlackRook Media, is proud to launch the latest episode in its groundbreaking Business School Docuseries, Leading the Future of Business Education. This new release features King’s Business School at King’s College London, one of the UK’s most prestigious academic institutions, recognised globally for its impact-driven approach to sustainability and business education

The episode explores how King’s Business School is playing a vital role in shaping global thinking around sustainability. The school makes the most of its location the heart of London to maintain extensive connections with industry and policy-makers to inform research, test ideas and provide opportunities for experiential learning. This ensures that research and teaching are high impact, helping individuals and organisations to address the most pressing business and societal challenges of our time and embodying the school’s ethos of ‘life-changing business’.

Dr Robyn Klingler-Vidra, Vice Dean, Global Engagement and Reader in Political Economy & Entrepreneurship at King’s Business School said:

The need for a more sustainable approach is one of the biggest challenges facing business today, yet there’s a clear gap in knowledge around how to address it. That makes industry-informed research and research-led teaching an essential catalyst for change.

As researchers we are helping organisations solve live problems and as educators we equip our students from new graduates to experienced executives, to have a meaningful and lasting impact on their organisations. This impact is what we mean when we talk about our ethos of ‘life-changing business’, it’s both a commitment to our students and an ideal that they take forward with them."

Filmed on location in London, the episode highlights the dynamic environment of King’s Business School, where many faculty members work directly with industry partners. This close integration ensures that students receive an education that is both intellectually rigorous and practically relevant, bridging the gap between academic theory and industry demands.

King’s College London exemplifies the type of modern, mission-driven business school we aimed to highlight in this docuseries,” said Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of AMBA & BGA. “Their commitment to sustainability, combined with direct engagement in business practice, creates a powerful blueprint for responsible leadership in action.”

This episode is part of a nine-film series that showcases leading business schools across the world. Produced in collaboration with BlackRook Media, the docuseries offers more than four hours of high-quality, digital-first content that captures the evolving role of business schools in a globalised, fast-changing world.
