
Beatrice Avolio Alecchi, General Director of Centrum PUCP and Head of the Department of Graduate Studies in Business at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), joins the Board, bringing extensive academic leadership and international experience to AMBA & BGA’s global network.
With more than 25 years in graduate business education, Avolio has held a range of senior roles at Centrum PUCP, contributing to its growth as one of Latin America’s top business schools. She has played a pivotal role in advancing the school’s international accreditations and academic reputation, while also serving as a dedicated professor and researcher in areas including strategic planning, leadership, and gender equality.
Her academic contributions span numerous peer-reviewed publications, books, and technical reports, and she is a strong advocate for sustainable development and women’s leadership. In 2024, she was named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Peru by Forbes Peru, in recognition of her work in education and gender equity.

As part of her new role, Avolio will also join the AMBA & BGA Latin America Advisory Council, helping to shape strategy and support business schools across the region.
