The AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards bring together the leading lights of the global business education community to recognise and celebrate excellence among business schools, students and graduates, suppliers, and employers who share AMBA & BGA’s values of ambition, impact, and integrity.
The Excellence Awards 2027 will recognise outstanding achievement, innovation, and impact across 13 highly competitive categories. These awards provide AMBA-accredited and BGA member, validated, and accredited business schools with a global platform to showcase excellence and gain international recognition.

The Excellence Awards 2026 recognised outstanding achievement, innovation, and impact across 13 highly competitive categories. The awards gave AMBA-accredited and BGA member, validated and accredited business schools a global platform to showcase excellence and gain international recognition.
The awards celebrated the institutions and individuals defining best practice in global business education, from the year’s shortlisted finalists to the 2026 award winners.
In each category, entries are first shortlisted by AMBA & BGA before being reviewed by a panel of expert judges. For business school categories, the judges determine the outcome based solely on the written submissions. In contrast, for student and graduate categories, finalists will also take part in short interviews conducted via conference call or virtual meeting.
Following this process, judges independently award points to each entry. These scores are then totaled, with the highest-scoring entry receiving the gold prize, the second-highest receiving silver, and the third-highest receiving bronze.
All entries are assessed anonymously, and judges remain unaware of the final results until the award winners are officially announced.
We hold a series of events for business school professionals across the globe and throughout the calendar year. They range from conferences offering excellent development and networking opportunities right through to webinars.
