To mark AMBA & BGA's 60th anniversary, we're inviting accredited business schools to take part in the AMBA & BGA Diamond Scholarship.

Created to celebrate this milestone, the initiative will recognise aspiring leaders studying MBA, MBM and DBA programmes, while giving participating schools an opportunity to showcase their programmes to AMBA & BGA's global audience.

We'll also provide a dedicated marketing toolkit and ready-to-use campaign assets to help you promote your scholarship through your own channels.

How does the Diamond Scholarship work?

Your business school can offer a maximum of one Diamond Scholarship per accredited MBA, MBM or DBA programme, or one scholarship across all your eligible accredited programmes.

Each Diamond Scholarship must cover a minimum of 50% of tuition fees for the duration of the programme, with schools able to offer a higher tuition-fee reduction if they wish.

When can we take part?

Scholarships will be promoted between October 2026 and September 2027, with successful scholars beginning their studies between September 2027 and August 2028.

What does taking part involve?

If your business school takes part, you'll:

fund your Diamond Scholarship, either as an additional scholarship or in place of an existing scholarship for the anniversary year
offer a minimum of 50% off tuition fees for an eligible MBA, MBM or DBA programme for the duration of study, whether full-time or part-time
have the option to offer a higher tuition-fee reduction
manage your own application timeline and selection process in line with your usual admissions criteria
promote your scholarship between October 2026 and September 2027
use the AMBA & BGA Diamond Scholarship marketing toolkit to support your campaign.

Participation is optional, giving you the flexibility to decide whether the initiative is right for your business school and its recruitment priorities.

What makes a Diamond Scholar?

Diamond Scholars should demonstrate leadership qualities that reflect the brilliance, strength and potential of a diamond.

We're looking for candidates who:

demonstrate strength, precision and excellence within their chosen career
can withstand pressure, see with clarity and remain focused on what holds value over time
demonstrate the capacity for growth
have an enduring commitment to using their business education to make a positive impact on others.

Your business school can also include an additional selection criterion, such as a widening-participation measure including merit-cum-means.

How will AMBA & BGA support you?

We'll provide a dedicated AMBA & BGA Diamond Scholarship marketing toolkit, giving you access to ready-to-use campaign assets, including approved messaging, website and email copy, social media templates, creative assets and guidelines to support your campaign.

We'll also promote Diamond Scholarship opportunities to our global audience throughout the anniversary year.

Once scholarships are live, a dedicated webpage will showcase participating business schools and direct prospective students to individual scholarship and application pages.

When the Diamond Scholars have been selected, we'll showcase their photographs and biographies, helping to celebrate the scholars and the business schools supporting them.
